POWER key

Turns the CX-1000 on or off.

SOURCE DIRECT key

Has the same function as the front panel SOURCE DIRECT switch

INPUT SELECTOR keys

These allow you select the desired audio or video source directly

by pushing the corresponding key. The name of the chosen

source lights up on the front panel display.

PHONO PLAY/CUT key

Starts or stops the connected turntable.

TUNER keys

These keys let you select the desired preset station on the tuner

@ A/B/C

Switches between the two or three banks of siation presets.

e UP and DOWN

Pressing these keys switches to the next higher (UP) or St

(DOWN) preset station.

CD keys

e PLAY

Press to start CD playback.

e PAUSE/STOP

Press once to temporarily stop playback (pause mode).
