1. Introduction
1.1. Install Mode
Because this same model has different functions depending on whether it is to be installed in a conference room
or hotel room, it features two Install modes: Conference and Hotel.
The ESB-1080 is started in conference mode by default. Refer to this Install Guide for instructions on the various
settings of Conference mode, changing to Hotel mode, and cancelling these Install modes.
1.1.1. Conference Mode
This mode has been optimized for installation in corporate conference rooms as an extension speaker for
teleconferencing and video presentations.
Sound processing is optimized according to the teleconference application.
1.1.2. Hotel Mode
This mode is optimized for installation in hotel rooms.
As with the Conference Mode, it has specific installation settings, and the sound processing is optimized for
listening to TV and movies.
1.2. About the Setup Text File Creation Tool
By loading the Setup Text File to this unit, each function of Install Mode can be customized.
the Setup Text File can be created using the tool (ESB_ConferenceHotelMode_Setup.xlsm) included with and
explained by this Installation Guide.
