Use of the freezer

The freezer is marked with the
means that the compartment is suitable for freezing
foods and for long-term storage of frozen foods.

Frozen food storage

Insert the plug into the wall socket, pilot light (A) will
come on; this indicates that the appliance is switched
on.
For correct storage of frozen and deep-frozen foods,
freezer temperature should be at least –18 C or
colder. To do this, we recommend that you turn knob
(E) to an intermediate position. The freezer's
temperature is thus automatically set for good food
storage.
If the appliance is being used in abnormal conditions
– e.g. poor ventilation, high or low room temperature
and/or frequent opening of appliance's door – the
setting must be adjusted accordingly. In these cases
knob (E) must be turned to the higher settings to
obtain a lower temperature, or to the lower settings to
obtain a higher temperature.
Freezer operation can be halted by turning knob (E) to
position « O ». The refrigerator will continue to work.

Quick freezing

Turn knob (D) to position «S» (SUPER). The pilot
light (B) will then light up.
