For proper operation and connectivity of the Intel network interface with ISIS the following settings are required:

For the Intel NIC driver, under the performance settings, change the following parameters:

Receive Buffers to 10 24

Transmit Buffers to 1024

Disable the windows firewall.

Please Note: CPU Hyper-threading should be enabled in all configurations. It is currently enabled by

default by Lenovo for shipping P700 systems

1. Verify CPU Processors are set to Hyper-Threading

Memory option for NUMA –

Set P700 Required system BIOS changes:

During boot up press F2 at the Lenovo splash screen to invoke Set Up.

Select the Advanced tab

Select CPU configuration Bullet

Select Hyper-Threading

Verify setting is Enabled

Select Memory Configuration Bullet

Set NUMA disabled (Avid MC runs best with NUMA disabled)

After installation of the AVID software the supported Nvidia driver can be found in the following directory:

Program Files / Avid / Utilities / Nvidia. The Nvidia driver, 340.84, is NOT included with the 7.0.4.1/11.0.4.1 patch.
