Updating the SWG Appliance Custom Firmware Block
To update the firmware on the appliance after a system board replacement and AFTER the VPD update has been completed, select
option 1 from the Blue Main Menu.

The tools will auto-detect the appliance and take you to a customized menu section instead of the standard ToolsCenter menu. If the
Appliance VPD is recognized correctly and you're using the correct tool, it will simply ask you to confirm {Y} (Figure 12) to go
forward with the updates. If the Appliance VPD is not recognized, you will receive the warning shown in the "Invalid Asset Tag /
Appliance VPD section" (Figure 15)
