Software features

The NE1032 RackSwitch with Cloud NOS has the following software features and specifications:
Scalability and performance:
Media access control (MAC) address learning with automatic updates
Static and LACP (IEEE 802.3ad) link aggregation
Broadcast and multicast storm control
IGMP snooping to limit flooding of IP multicast traffic
IGMP filtering to control multicast traffic for hosts participating in multicast groups
Configurable traffic distribution schemes over trunk links based on source or destination IP or
MAC addresses, or both
Fast port forwarding and fast uplink convergence for rapid STP convergence
Availability and redundancy:
IEEE 802.1D STP for providing L2 redundancy

VLAN 1 is the default VLAN
VLAN numbers 2 - 3999 are user-configurable
VLAN numbers 4000 - 4095 are reserved for the use by the switch
