terclockwise while holding the joint

Turn the joint knob so the flat sides
of the joint plate are parallel with
the flat edges of the joint.

ful ly seated.
cWhen inserting the joint plate into the ioint
collar, be sure the flat edges of the ioint plate
remain parallel to the flat edges of the ioint.
Loosen the joint

scale, then turn the joint knob clock-
wise until the joint is locked in posi-
