The D PC-‐4EZ r esponds t o M IDI P rogram C hange ( PC) a nd M IDI C ontinuous

Controller ( CC) m essages. P rogram C hange m essages w ill e ngage t he p resets o r t he

bypass s etting o n t he D PC-‐4EZ. C ontinuous C ontroller m essages m ay b e u sed t o

change t he s tatus o f t he D PC-‐4EZ l oops o r t o s tore a p reset. P lease c onsult t he M IDI

implementation c hart f or d etails o f s pecific c ommands t hat t he D PC-‐4EZ w ill a ccept.

Recalling a p reset o n t he D PC-‐4EZ w ill s end a M IDI P rogram C hange m essage.

Engaging t he b ypass p reset w ill s end P rogram C hange 0 , t he r ed p reset b ank s ends

Program C hanges 1 -‐3; t he g reen p reset b ank s ends P rogram C hanges 4 -‐6, e tc.

When t he D PC-‐4EZ r eceives a p rogram c hange m essage, t he l oops w ill c hange s tate

to m atch t he p reset s aved i n t hat l ocation. I f t he D PC-‐4EZ r eceives a M IDI p rogram

change h igher t han 1 2, t he b ank L ED w ill t urn o ff. I f t he D PC-‐4EZ i s i n m anual m ode

when i t r eceives a M IDI p rogram c hange m essage, i ts L EDs w ill u pdate t o s how t he

current s tatus o f i ts l oops.

Engaging a l oop i n m anual m ode s ends a M IDI C ontinuous C ontroller m essage. I f

MIDI S END i s s et t o O FF i n t he p ower-‐on c onfiguration, t hen n either P rogram C hange

nor C ontinuous C ontroller m essages w ill b e s ent b y t he D PC-‐4EZ. T he M IDI i nput

and o utput s till f unction a nd p ass m essages t hrough w hether M IDI S END i s e nabled

or n ot, a s i s t he U SB M IDI f unctionality.
