Introduction:

Just because you drive an older car does not mean you have to settle for old

technology. Apple recently released a new generation of products and with them

a new Lightning plug. The IL-MBCD works in select 1992-98 Mercedes Benz

with analog CD changers.

(Working changer required otherwise this adapter

will not apply).

The IL-MBCD updates vehicles to play and charge the newest

Apple IOS devices including iPhone 12, iPod Touch (5G), iPad(4G), iPad Mini(1G),

iPad Mini Retina Display.

The IL-MBCD takes the place of the CD changer which remains connected but will

no longer play, but with the storage capacity of these devices sacrificing CD

changer playback should be an easy decision.

Installation:

Warning!

Although not critical, we recommend disconnecting the car battery.

Radios that are coded will not operate upon reconnection.

Radio must be removed to gain access to the connectors. Removal tools

(See Fig. 1) required to remove these radios from the dash.

To remove radio, slide both tools into radio slots to detent position,

(Straight edge facing out) and withdraw radio by pulling outwards. (See
