to achieve complete satisfaction and maximum performance from you product.
I. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• Check the appliance and the supply cord for damage regularly.
• Check your mains supply is the same as that indicated on the product before connecting.
• Ensure that the appliance is used on a firm, flat surface.
• Always close the lid securely, otherwise the kettle may not switch off automatically and
may eject boiling water.
• Ensure the kettle is switched off before removing it from the power base.
• Always remove the kettle from the power base before filling or pouring.
• Take care when carrying the kettle before and after boiling water.
• Always pour slowly and do not over tilt the kettle to avoid splashing.
• Never leave the appliance unattended whilst in use.
• Never immerse the appliance in any water or other liquids.
• Never over fill or under fill the kettle and never use without water.
• WARNING - Never open the lid while the water is heating.
• Never move the kettle whilst it is in use.
• Never allow the supply cord to touch hot surfaces.
• Never use the appliance if the supply cord or plug is damaged or if the appliance has
been damaged in any manner.
• Never use this kettle with any power base other than the one provided.
• Do not touch hot surfaces i.e. body or lid. Use handles or knobs.
• Do not use the kettle for any other purpose than for heating water.
• Never use the appliance in a bathroom or near any source of water.
• Never use the appliance outdoors.
IMPORTANT!
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and if they understand the hazards involved.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Do not attempt to make repairs to the appliance. Always contact a qualified technician.
If the supply cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by a suitably qualified person
