SYSTEM FUNCTION AND OPERATION

Now you are ready to use the DS 222 system.

Once you have turned on the DS 222 and your source (DVD or Sound Card) adjust the sound level volume contols to your required listening level.

You can adjust the bass separately from the rest of the speakers by moving the 'Woofer' level control.

We hope you have many years of listening pleasure from the system, however if you are having any difficulties please follow the trouble shooting guide

at the rear of this manual or contact the helpline on 01327 340601.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM

No sound

Improper connection of speaker terminal.

Improper connection of sound frequency terminal.

Improper connection of AC plug and the socket.

Volume is too low.

The speaker terminal is short-circuited.

Sound

Improper connection of amplifier input terminal.

The volume is too high.

Sound only from

Input level is too high.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

SOLUTION

Ensure that the equipment is connected properly.

Ensure that the sound frequency is connected properly.

Insert the AC plug securely into the AC outlet.

Increase the volume with volume control dial.

Turn off the power, reconnect the speakers, then turn the power on again.

Ensure that the input terminal is connected properly.

Lower the volume with volume control dial.

Ensure that the input terminal is connected correctly.

Adjust each volume channel correctly.
