Step 3: Mounting The Volume Control Knob
Mounting Flush Mount Volume Control Knob:
The volume control knob should be placed in an available area for
the flush mount to be nearly and conveniently placed. We find the
side compartment works very well. A small hole will need to be
drilled to mount the knob. Follow the photos below for details.
Recommended location for the flush mount dimmer
Install dimmer such that wires follow this path as
viewed from the underside of the panel.
• Hint for High Vibration installations: To keep the Volume Control Knob from
rotating itself under high vibration, put a dab of silicone adhesive under the knob
and let it dry. Then push the rubber knob back on. The friction of the glue under
the knob will keep it in place.
