Congratulations!
You have purchased an electro hydraulic rescue tool. These tools have distinct
advantages over traditional rescue tool equipment.
One of the advantages is the powerful energy source – a Lithium Ion battery. Lithium
ion battery technology is commonly used within many applications throughout the
world. These batteries are characterized by a very low self-discharge rate, and a
high energy density, just to name a couple.
However, lithium ion batteries bear some risks of which you need to be aware
of just, so you can take precautions and thus can safely and securely use our
products for a long time.
TECHNICAL DATA FOR BATTERY CHARGING
Temperature ranges:
Modell: 7S3P/ 9.0Ah
Operation:
-20°C to 55°C
- 4 to 131°F
Charging:
0°C to 45°C
32°F to 113°F
Storage: 3 months
-20°C to 20°C / - 4 to 68°F

-20°C to 60°C / - 4 to 140°F
IP Classification:
This is an IP68 rated battery pack. This means the unit can be operated under water
up to a 3m or 9,84 feet for up to one hour (60 min). Always make sure you don´t exceed
these limits during operations.
Hazards
Lithium Ion batteries bear a risk of fire or explosion if proper guidelines are not
followed. The primary cause for Lithium Ion batteries catching fire, is a short circuit of
one of the cells. This can be either an internal short circuit or an external short circuit.
Internal short circuit:
• The separator of the cell is destroyed through severe mechanical deformation of
the cell.
• The separator is destroyed through mechanical effects caused e.g. by deep dis-
charging the cell.
External short circuit:
• A conductive substance, such as water or oil will short circuit the plus and
minus poles of a cell.
PRECAUTIONS
The following precautions will help you to avoid harmful situations:
1. Mechanical stresses on battery packs:
• Handle with caution and do not open, damage, drop, strike, crush or
throw the battery pack.
• DO NOT put the battery pack into a microwave or high-pressure
container. Never expose batteries to microwaves or high pressure.
Modell: 7S2P/ 5.0Ah
• DO NOT open a battery pack for any reason.
• If the battery pack is broken do not insert into charger – electric shock,
-20°C to 55°C
electrocution, fire or explosion may result.
- 4 to 131°F
• Never leave an overheated, damaged, or a battery with signs of
0°C to 50°C
smoke or odor signs in a room or car unattended.
32°F to 122°F
• While storing your battery, attached to or not attached to a tool, make
sure the battery cannot be accidentally damaged. For example,
pushed against a compartment door, heavy objects falling on the
battery, etc.
• DO NOT use damaged battery packs – dispose of them properly
according to local and federal environmental laws.
2. Observe error messages:
• If your battery pack displays an error message, dispose of it properly
• For reference on how to obtain error messages from the battery
and what they mean, please see the chapter on Battery LED Code
Summary at the end of this document.
3. External short circuit:
• While storing your battery, attached to or not attached to a tool, make
sure that battery cannot accidentally be exposed to metal chips or
metal powder.
• DO NOT attempt to charge a wet battery pack. Only charge battery
packs which are dry and clean.
• DO NOT put a wet battery pack on a charger. Liquid may transfer
from the battery into the charger– electric shock, electrocution, fire or
