*Fitment Notes:

Generally with the 1" - 2"" risers you will have plenty of slack in the wires and cables. Never

yank the wires, gently pull them up to get the length you need.

If you find you need more length than can be obtained by gently pulling on the wires-you may

need to do some re-routing of the wires and/or cables, or even extend them.

Re-routing or changing/eliminating the clamp location of the clutch cable and throttle cables can

gain upwards of 7-8" of effective length. Just make sure that however you change it, the

cable(s) cannot get caught in a manner that will restrict turning of the handlebars.

When adjusting your handlebars, always make sure nothing is hitting your tank when the

handlebars are turned all the way to the right and left.

General Notes:

● The rider's safety depends on the correct installation of this kit.

● Please do not attempt if you have any doubts of your ability to install.

● If you have the raw aluminum finish, as little as 5 minutes with some chrome polish or

other slightly abrasive metal cleaner, per riser extension, will produce a mirror finish.

● Harley-Davidson uses red thread locker on the factory threads of the lower handlebar

clamps. We have used both red and blue and been happy with both results, however,

red threadlocker is what is specified.

● With the handlebars higher, steering will feel different. Exercise caution as you get

accustomed to the difference.
