METHOD OF ASSEMBLY

If you have bought a new gas cylinder, the cylinder needs to be

purged (cleared out), before its first use. If it is not purged of air,

the heater will not work properly. This should happen at the gas

filling station when you fill up the cylinder. Always check this with

your gas supplier.

Unpack the appliance from the carton and ensure all the parts

are present.

Battery assembly

Place two 1.5V DC, size D

batteries into the battery case.

Batteries are not included. Follow the polarity markings in the

case to avoid malfunction.

Alkaline batteries are

recommended.

This heater makes use of a

domestic cylinder (3kg or 4.5kg

ALVA cylinder recommended) with a

3/8" BSP thread vertical exit valve.

The L-shape regulator supplied with

the heater tightens to the left hand

side (clockwise). (Figure A)

This heater operates

directly on a cylinder

with a 3/8" VERTICAL

exit valve. (ALVA 3kg

or 4.5kg domestic

size)

It is NOT to be used

on a cylinder with a

5/8" HORIZONTAL exit

valve.
