Indications for Use:
The ASI Classic Assistant Series (Models 1044, 1045, 2044 & 2045) is a dental treatment unit. It is designed to provide air,
water, vacuum and electricity to operate various dental handpieces, accessories and attachments and to serve as a base for
other dental devices and accessories.
The device is intended for use to provide general dental restorative care and hygiene procedures in both traditional dental
office settings and/or mobile applications by or under the supervision of a licensed dentist or a hygienist if permitted by
applicable law.
Product Description
The Dental System product is a cart-based operative dental treatment unit requiring connection to an AC electrical power
supply, suction, and compressed air supply for operation. Configure for right, left or ambidextrous users. The product is
constructed of aluminum chassis with powder coat paint finish, high grade dual wheel type casters, composite work surface
top and a one liter closed water supply bottle. The product is hard wired with the appropriate type mains plug provided for the
electrical specification Model as listed. Includes rear and side-mounted rail system for mounting of accessory brackets and
storage bins.
Model 1044
This model is set up with dual sets of assistant's instruments to provide for
ambidextrous use. Each side includes one air/water syringe, high volume and saliva
ejector suction instruments. The bank of drawers is mounted in the center to provide
ease of access for either right or left handed use. (Fig 1.2-A)
Model 1045
This model can be configured with the bank of drawers on the right or left side of the
cart for the operator's preference. The model includes an air water syringe, high
volume evacuator and saliva ejector mounted on the side bar rail or optional swivel
bar. (Fig. 1.2-B)
Model 2044
Includes the same features of the Model 1044 with the addition of two sets of air
driven handpiece connections with internal dual position control block and foot control
mounted on each side to provide for ambidextrous right or left handed use.
Model 2045
Includes the same features of the Model 1044 with the addition of air driven
handpiece connections with internal dual position control block and foot control
mounted on the side rail.
