2. Product description
The AK 2004- 5004patient chairs features an infinitely variable height adjustable seat, driven by an
encapsulated, maintenance free electric motor and gear box unit. It is suitable for patient
examinations. Function control by either a footswitch or directly through electronic control board of
the examination equipment.
AK 2004: Backrests and armrests are fixed.
AK 3004: Backrest is fixed. The armrests fold away.
AK 4004: The backrest reclines and the armrests fold away. The optional footrest is fixed.
AK 5004: The backrest reclines and the armrests fold away. The optional footrest is synchronized with
backrest movements.

Power: 110 / 120 Volts 50 / 60 Hz
3. Installation and set up
If the chair is intended to be connected directly to the examination unit, the connection must be
o Place chair in it's designated position. Make sure, floor is level and even.
o The auto circuit brake on the connection board must be pressed in.
o Connect foot switch.
o Finally, connect power cord.
