GETTING STARTED

WHAT'S IN THE BOX

Packed with your A860 you will find

• Two detachable mains power cord

• 10 pieces of 6-position terminal block (for INPUT/OUTPUT )

• 2 pieces of 4-position terminal block (for SPEAKERS)

• 1 piece of 4-position terminal block (for 12V TRIGGER )

• 4 pieces of feet with mounting screws

• Quick Setup Guide

Refer to the supplied A860 Quick Setup Guide for basic instructions

in setting up your new Bluesound Professional A860. The following

important notes must also be observed when setting up your A860.

IMPORTANT SETUP NOTES

• Before setting up or making connections, ensure that the A860 and

other devices to be connected to A860 are unplugged or powered

down.

• Connect external speaker cables to supplied SPEAKER terminal

block ensuring that the connections match A860's Zone SPEAKER

OUT terminal markings.

• Bare wire or loose strands from the speaker cables must not touch

the rear panel or other speaker terminals.

• After installing the external speaker cables to the supplied SPEAKER

terminal blocks, plug in the wired up SPEAKER terminal blocks to

corresponding ZONE (ZONE 1- 4) speaker terminals of A860.

• Connect corresponding end of the AC power cord to A860's AC mains

input and the AC power cord's plug connected to mains power outlet.

• Set the POWER switch at the rear panel to "ON" setting (TRIGGER

OFF/ ON/AUTO switch set to OFF position). Zone channels with

active input signal will have their corresponding Zone channel LED

indicators illuminated.

Please save the box and all of the packaging in which your A860

arrived. Should you move or otherwise need to transport your A860, this

is by far the safest container to do so. We've seen too many otherwise

perfect components damaged in transit for lack of a proper shipping

carton, so please: Save that box
