USER INFORMATION

Setting the Electronics Code
A code is selected automatically for all controls from among 65,000
random codes available.
The receiver has to learn the code of the handset:
- Power up Handset.
- Power up Receiver (LED flashes).
- Whilst flashing, press any button.
- When the Receiver LED stops flashing, the code is set.
- The remote defaults to Manual Mode on Start-up.
Setting °C/24 Hour or °F/12 Hour Clock.
Press OFF and (▼) until display changes from °F/12 hr to °/24/hr
clock or visa-versa.
Setting the time.
Simultaneously press the (▼) and (▲) buttons, the display now
flashes.
Press (▲) to set the hour and (▼) to set the minute.
Press OFF to return to manual mode.
Igniting the Appliance.
Simultaneously press the "
OFF" and "▲ " buttons of the receiver
for ignition.
An acoustic signal indicates that the start sequence has begun.
The electronic system then checks that the main gas is flowing and
ignites the main burner; this may take up to 20 seconds.
(NOTE: During start-up, override knob cannot be in Manual position.)
Changing the Mode of Operation.
Briefly pressing the SET button changes the mode of operation in the
following order:
Man - Temp - Temp - Timer - back to Man
Man - Manual Flame Height Adjustment.
You are now able to use the remote control. To increase the flame,
the top button (▲) should be depressed. Pressing the lower button
(▼) on the handset will reduce the flame.

INSTALLER INFORMATION
The receiver unit should be located away under the fire, ensure that
the receiver is located on its special bracket that will keep the
receiver at a temperature below 60ºC, and that the customer knows
where the receiver is for future battery replacement.
Check the system.
