- If the LED indicator does not light up blue, the vehicle is not switched on or the connection to
the charging socket is damaged. In this case, the check in the vehicle must also be carried
out to ensure that it is no longer in driving mode.
NOTE: Always keep the Emergency Plug connected and plugged into the vehicle
for the duration of all activities on the vehicle. This ensures that the vehicle is
immediately locked against driving away in the event of an accidental switch-on.
WITHDRAW
The Emergency Plug can be removed from the vehicle at any time, but this is only safe
if the vehicle is secured.
Once the work has been completed and the vehicle secured, the emergency plug can
be removed.
Access to charging socket
There is a transmitter built into the Emergency Plug that opens the lid of
the Tesla charging socket. Hold the Emergency Plug close to the Tesla
and press the button on top of the Emergency Plug. This is the same
button as the self-test button. The cover of the charging port opens.
If the charging port cover is closed, access to the charging port can be forced using the auxiliary
tool provided.
