SAFETY Continued

Appliance become very hot when in operation. Keep

children and adults away from hot surfaces to avoid

burns or clothing ignition. Appliance will remain

hot for a time after shutdown. Allow surfaces to cool

before touching.

Carefully supervise young children when they are

in the room with appliance. Insure that you have

incorporated adequate safety measures to protect

infant/toddlers from touching hot surfaces.

Keep the appliance area clear and free from combus-

tible materials, gasoline and other flammable vapors

and liquids.

1. This appliance is only for use with the type of gas indicated on the

rating plate. This appliance is not convertible for use with other

gases.

2. Always keep a fire extinguisher (CLASS B) near the appliance.

3. Never refill appliance fuel reservoir when appliance is operating

or still hot.

4. This appliance shall not be installed in a bedroom or bathroom.

5. Do not burn wood or other materials in this appliance.

6. Do not run appliance

• where flammable liquids or vapors are used or stored

• under dusty conditions

7. Do not use this appliance to cook food or burn paper or other

objects.

8. Do not use appliance if any part has been exposed to or under water.

Immediately call a qualified service technician to inspect the appliance

and to replace any part of the control system which has been under

water.

9. Turn appliance off and let cool before servicing. Only a qualified

service person should service and repair appliance.

10. Provide adequate clearances around air openings.

• Do not drink ethanol fuel

• Do not operate while intoxicated

• Do not smoke while filling the appliance fuel reservoir

• Do not use in a room with oxygen tank is in use

WARNING: This appliance has not been tested

with an unvented gas log set. To reduce risk of fire

or injury, do not install an unvented log set into this

appliance.
