Coin Changer
Specifications
• Tuning Specification: TS-115.
• Coins Accepted: U.S. 5¢, 10¢ and 25¢ coins and
Canadian 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, $1 and $2 coins.
• Pays out change in 5¢, 10¢ and 25¢ coins.
1) Remove power from the vendor.
Installing The
Coin Changer
2) Remove the acceptor from the coin changer by
releasing the acceptor latches and pulling the top of
the acceptor forward, away from the changer. Unplug
the ribbon cable from changer. With the acceptor
removed, set the key holes in the back of the changer
housing over the mounting screws in the vendor.
Tighten snugly.
3) Set the changer option switches (see "Setting the Vend
Price and Option Switches").
4) Replace the acceptor by inserting bottom accepted
studs into the changer housing guides. Plug the ribbon
cable into the changer. Press top of acceptor into
changer housing until the acceptor studs lock into the
acceptor latches.
5) Plug the coin changer into the vendor.
6) Load the coin tubes, making sure all coins lie flat.
7) Test with a variety of coins to ensure proper operation.

Setting The
Vend Price
The Option Switch Module (see Figure 1) is composed of

three rocker switches. These switches are ON when the

top of the switch is pushed in. These switches correspond
as follows:
Controls the acceptance of Canadian coins.
Switch 1
ON
Accepts U.S. and Canadian coins.
OFF
Accepts U.S. coins only.
Determines at what coin tube level accepted quarters
Switch 2
will be directed to the cash box.
ON
Activates the middle coin tube sensor.
OFF
Activates the upper coin tube sensor.
Controls the acceptance of the Canadian $2 coin.
Switch 3
ON
Accepts the Canadian $2 coin.
OFF
Rejects the Canadian $2 coin.
