Advanced Screen
The Advanced screen displays four sections of detailed CGMiner statistics divided into four categories:
Summary, Devices, Pools and Stats. If you contact CoinTerra technical support with an issue you may be
required to share some or all of this information in order to aid the troubleshooting process.
Rebooting the TerraMiner
To reboot the TerraMiner, briefly press and release the Reset button recessed in the hole on the front
panel with a pin or similar object. The CTR1 LED will turn orange to indicate that the reboot request has
been accepted and then all the LEDs will turn off. After two seconds the reboot process will begin.
Factory Restore
You may need to restore the TerraMiner to factory settings for reasons such as losing the Admin
password or after unsuccessfully flashing a newly downloaded firmware. The Factory Restore option
rolls the system back by removing persistent configuration settings such as passwords, CGMiner
configuration and SSL certifications. The currently installed firmware will be retained unless the system
fails to boot, in which case the original factory firmware will be reloaded.
To reset the miner to its default configuration:
Press and hold the Reset button recessed in the hole on the front panel with a pin or similar object
After two seconds the CTR1 LED will turn red, indicating that the button should be released
When the button has been released, the CTR1 LED will blink red while the settings are cleared, after
which the system will restart
If the button is released before two seconds have elapsed, the CTR1 LED will turn orange and the
system will restart without clearing the settings
After clearing the settings it will be necessary to manually reconfigure the system, or by using the
Import Configuration File option to restore a previously saved configuration.
If you press and hold the Reset button for more than 8 seconds the controller
card will shut down but the TerraMiner will continue to operate, although it will
stop mining after a few seconds. If you do this, power down the TerraMiner by
disconnecting both power cords before powering up again.
