The scan will start and send the image data to the fax driver. The fax
will start transmission.
• The need to specify the fax recipient's fax number and prepare a cover sheet
will depend upon the fax driver in use.
This function creates a file attachment and an empty mail message, and transmits the
message.
• To use this function, a mail application program that supports the MAPI interface is
required. Since the default setting for this function at installation is [MAPI mail], you
will need to set your mail program to the MAPI interface or use ScanGear Toolbox's
link button to link the application to this function
• This function cannot be used to scan films.
