Reinsert the battery

Make sure the polarity (+/-) of the battery is correct

Make sure the battery is not drained

Make sure the device is powered on

Check if anything is blocking the either of the lens

Make sure you are not trying to measure beyond the greatest measuring distance

The target should not be closer than 10 yards
MAINTENANCE
Remove dust or dirt from the lens surface by rubbing with a soft or oil-free brush. Use a
soft or quality oil-free tissue to gently remove smudges or fingerprints. You may also use
lens cleaning kits or isopropyl alcohol to wipe the lens. Always apply the fluid to the
cleaning cloth (DO NOT pour the alcohol on the lens).
