3. Installation

Switch off ignition and disconnect the vehicle's battery! If according to factory rules
disconnecting the battery has to be avoided, it is usually sufficient to put the vehicle in
sleep-mode. In case the sleep-mode does not show success, disconnect the battery with a
resistor lead.

Vehicle installation

1. Connect the red open wire of the interface harness with + 12V ignition (ACC) and the
black open wire to ground.
2. Connect the audio source to the two audio cinch sockets of the harness.
3. Set the appropriate free FM frequency via the 8 DIP switches on the interface (see
frequency table).
4. Set the FM frequency from the interface also in your radio.
On radios with RDS function the display show "AUX-IN".
