During Washing
Reselecting a program
q If the child lock is active, temporarily deactivate
it; see page 23.
q Turn the program selector to Off.
q Turn the program selector to a newly selected
program.
The Start/Pause indicator light flashes.
q If the child lock is active, deactivate again
temporarily.
q If required, change the settings; see
from Page 17.
q Press the Start/Pause button.
The program starts.
The indicator light shines.

Topping up the washing/
Interrupting the program
You can put laundry in the drum later, take laundry
out of the drum early or interrupt the program at
any time.
i It is not recommended to add laundry after the
washing phase is complete.
Without child lock
i You can top up or reduce laundry as long as
the Start/Pause indicator light shines (red).
q Press the Start/Pause button.
In the display it successively is indicated:
Pause",
Door can be opened".
q Open the loading door.
q Put in/remove the laundry.
q Close the loading door.
q Press the Start/Pause button.
The program continues.
The indicator light shines (red).
i When the Start/Pause indicator light shines
(yellow), the program can be interrupted,
however the door cannot be opened for
reasons of safety (water level, temperature or
speed too high).
In the display it successively is indicated:
Pause",
Door cannot be opened".
i If the speed is too high, the Start/Pause
indicator light shines (yellow). Putting in laundry
is possible in Pause" mode when the drum is
at a standstill.
