BASIC GRINDER OPERATIONS

9.1 SWITCH - FIG. 4

The switch fitted to the grinder prevents accidental

machine starting.

Lock "OFF

The switch is protected against accidental starting by

an interlocking lever

conditions.

to many types of clothing after a short delay.

The risk is less if your outer clothing is made of wool,

or flame retardant treated cotton.

The machine is fitted with a "soft start". Always allow

the machine to run up to full speed before

commencing work.

9.4 ROUGHING - FIG. 5

When performing roughing operations, it is advised

to maintain the disk tilted at an angle of

approximately 30° in relation to the work surface.

NOTE: ONLY USE GRINDING DISCS FOR THIS

OPERATION.

IMPORTANT: Excessive pressure on the machine does

not necessarily result in higher working speed. On the

contrary, it increases the wear on the disc and can

damage the grinder.
