PROGRAMMING AND LIMIT SWITCH ADJUSTMENTS
RESETTING THE MOTOR
Dual power cut: Disconnect AC power for 2 seconds, reconnect for 10
seconds, disconnect for another 2 seconds and reconnect.
The motor rotates in one direction and stops on its own.
Window covering products manufactured by Futureguard, when properly installed, should require no operational maintenance or lubrication,
except when installed in salt air environments. Most of Futureguard's standard fabrics may be cleaned at the window by vacuuming with a soft
brush attachment. They may also be cleaned by using a sponge or soft cloth and mild solution of warm soapy water. A dishwashing liquid, such as
Ivory liquid, is recommended. A clean dry cloth is recommended for the metal finish.
Futureguard screens are manufactured from the finest materials available based on the requirements for performance, strength and longevity.
The frame components are manufactured with a combination of aluminum, stainless steel and corrosion-resistant carbon steel where high
strength is required. Screens exposed to salt air MUST be treated with the same care as would be given to a boat or other metal equipment in
order to prevent accelerated salt environment corrosion of the fasteners and finish.
1. The screen frame and fabric should be washed monthly with a non-detergent soap solution to clean off salt deposits. A simple hose end sprayer
like Soap Jet works well.
2. Rinse the frame and fabric with clean water and let the fabric dry in the down position.
3. In the spring and fall, remove the front cover from the head box. Rinse off any deposits with a mild non-detergent soap. Once dry, spray the
Motor Mount Bracket, Idler End Assembly and Side Channel Fabric Guides with silicone spray to provide protection and lubrication.
This simple preventative maintenance process will significantly extend the life of your screen. Salt corrosion is not covered under any
manufacturer's warranty.

Resetting to factory mode: When the motor stops, press and hold the
Programming button (10 sec.) on an already programmed transmitter/
channel until it jogs twice, then release. There is a pause between the
jogs. Do not release the Programming button until the second jog is
complete or you will have to start from the dual power cut again.
