Trouble

Liquid oxygen portable will

not allow any oxygen to

come out of the nasal

cannula.

Troubleshooting

Probable cause

• The portable may have been overfilled.

• The liter flow is on "0"

• Nasal cannula is not on liquid portable

• Liquid portable needs to be filled one

hour before using.

• Patient may be taking more breaths.

• Portable is not filling up completely.

• 9 volt battery is dead.

• Crystals have formed around the filling

port.

• Liquid oxygen evaporates quickly.
