Quick Summary of Operation

Stand Alone Duplication
• Use the arrow buttons to select the Copy function.
Place the source DVD or CD in the upper drive.
Place a blank DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD-R, or
CR-RW disc in the lower drive. After the lower
drive detects the blank disc, press the ENT button to
start copying.
• When Copy is completed, a good disc copy will be
ejected automatically. Failed discs will remain in the
lower drive and can be ejected manually. (Default
setting: a good disc will be ejected. This can be
changed; see the Setup section of the User Guide.)
For continuous duplication, reload blank discs into
the lower drive and repeat the procedure.

• A failed disc will remain in the lower drive (Default
setting: A failed disc is NOT ejected. To manually
eject a disc, press the ENT button to eject a failed
disc or press the eject button on the drive to eject
the disc.
External DVD/CD Recorder/Labeler
• Connect the USB cable (included) to the USB port
on the back of your duplicator and to an empty
USB port on your computer.
• Power on your duplicator. The display should show:

If you do not see this display, refer to the USB
section of the User Guide.
• Install the included Nero software (and USB drivers
if you are using Windows 98 SE).
• Launch the Nero software and select the desired
recording function. Insert appropriate media into
the DVD/CD-Recorder, and follow the display
prompts to record.
LightScribe Disc Labeling (P/N 260156
only)
• Place a LightScribe-certified disc with a blank label
(label side down, data recording side up) in the
DVD/CD Recorder.
• Launch the Label Maker software and you will find
"Print LightScribe Label."
• Select a label type, design your label, then print it.
