Preventing ESD problems
The components inside the tool and controller are sensitive to electrostatic dis-
charge. To avoid future malfunction, make sure that service and maintenance is
carried out in an ESD approved work environment. The figure below shows an
example of an appropriate service work station.

The recommended conditions for the tool are:
8 hours/day and 3000 tightening/day
20 days/month and 60,000 tightening/month

Perform maintenance or overhauling more frequently if the tool is used at high
torque, higher cycle rate than recommended or if self tapping screws and longer
tightening times are used.
Service instructions
Clean all parts and replace any defective or worn out parts during overhaul or
maintenance.
