The LEDs of the article cannot be replaced!

tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused
by improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at re-
pair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

■
The article is not a toy. Children and animals must be kept
away from the article, the mains adapter and the cable.
■
Warning of suffocation from plastic fi lms and bags! Keep chil-
dren and animals away from the packaging material.
■
Warning of strangulation! Make sure that the cable is always
kept out of the reach of small children and animals.
Risk of Electric Shock
■
Use and store the article only in closed rooms.
■
Keep the article, the mains adapter and the cable away
from moisture or wet conditions and do not touch them with
damp / wet hands!
■
Connect the mains adapter only to an easily accessible plug
socket whose mains voltage corresponds to the data on the rat-
ing plate. Only use suitable extension cables whose technical
data is the same as that of the mains adapter.
■
Disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power if you are
not using the article, if faults occur or in a thunderstorm.
■
Do not use the article if it, the mains adapter or the cable are
damaged. Have any repairs done only by a specialist work-
shop or the customer service department in order to prevent
any hazards.

with it.

Do not connect the article electrically to other light chains.

Protect the article from naked fl ames, heat, wide temperature
fl uctuations, direct sunlight and collisions.

Make sure that the cable is not squashed, bent or laid over
sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
Do not wrap the cable around the mains adapter.
■
When you disconnect it from the plug socket, always pull on the
mains adapter and never the cable.
■
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for clean-
ing. These could damage the article. If necessary, wipe the arti-
cle with a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent if required.

Putting Into Operation
1. Unpack the items supplied and check them for possible trans-
port damage. If you fi nd any damage, do not use the article (!),
but rather contact the customer service department immedi-
ately.
4. Plug the cable connector into the socket on the mains adapter
and screw the cap nut onto the thread of the mains adapter.
5. Always lay the cable in such a way that it does not present a
trip hazard. Connect the mains adapter to an easily accessible
socket. The LEDs will then start to light up, some of them will
fl ash.
6. Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket to switch off.
