Remove the relay unit (21).
Loosen screws (19) and remove the fuse carrier (20).
Remove sensor mount (18) together with air temperature sensor.
ASSEMBLING THE MAGNESIUM HEADLIGHT MOUNT
KIT
Caution
Before assembling, make sure that all parts are clean and in
perfect condition.
Take all the necessary actions to avoid damages to tank outer
surfaces.
Fit air temperature sensor (X) into rubber gaiter (18).
Fit rubber gaiter (with sensor) on right headlight mount (28). Take
care to aim it as shown in the figure.
To install relay rubber gaiter (U), pull it from outside the headlight
mount.
Install the 4 special nuts (26) to take up any play, then lock them
in place with hooks (Y).
To fit damping pad (W), pull it from inside the headlight mount.
Drive the 2 centering pins (K) fully into the marked holes.
To install damping pad (W) onto left headlight mount (29), pull
it from inside the headlight mount.
