The Chopin Evo Can be controlled by the soft touch
buttons on the extractor. This allows the user to
control the hoods on/off functions and motor speeds.
Timer button for turning the motor off after 10
minutes
Decreases motor speed.
Increases motor speed.
Turns the motor on at speed 2 and for turning
the motor off.
After 100 hours use, a 0 or a letter A will start flashing
on the display to remind the user to clean the metal
filters. After washing the metal filters, reset the hour
meter by pressing and holding the timer button for
more than three seconds with the hood turned off. A
dash will appear on the display once the meter has
been reset.
4. Use and Maintenance
There are two ways the Chopin Evo can be operated
depending on what type of pan is used on the hob. For
deep pans the centre panels can be angled up to aid
with extraction (Fig 15). For shallow/frying pans the
centre panel can be left down (Fig 16).

Before
beginning
maintenance work, turn the power off to the hood
by turning the main switch to 0 (OFF).
4.1 Cleaning the Metal Filters
The metal filters fitted in the hood should be washed
every 2-3 months, depending on how much the hood
is used, using hot water and a liquid detergent that is
not too aggressive.
The metal filters can be removed by the special
handle, unhooking the front part of the filter and
pulling it out. (Fig 17 & 18).
