B. Recovery procedure
1.
Copy the contents of the "Firmware" folder to the root of a USB memory stick.
Files included in the Firmware folder

Make sure the Media Giant is completely off. The switch on the back should be on "OFF".
3.
Connect the Media Giant to your TV using the Composite cable. No other cables should be used
and/or attached at the same time.
4.
Connect the USB memory stick to the USB host port on the front of the Media Giant.
5.
Press and hold the "RESET" button on the back and turn the Media Giant on with the switch on the
back. The reset button is placed between the optical output and power connector.
6.
Keep the "RESET" button pressed until the Media Giant comes up with an upgrade screen. Then you
can release the "RESET" button.
7.
Wait until the upgrade has completed. The Media Giant will reboot automatically.
8.
You can now remove the USB stick.
Note: By recovering the firmware all settings are erased, so you have to reconfigure the Media Giant after
the recovery has completed. The hard disk will not be erased, so the data remains intact.
