operation, move switch 1 shown to
the off position. (This is the factory
setting).
For an auto-reset function move
switch 1 to the ON position. It is
then necessary for the BX444 to be
reset in order for this change to take effect.
Note: This setting should only be made by a qualified
technician.

the characteristics , installation and the use of gas appliances; the ventilation of the environment and the

The BX444 can also be set to give a pulsed or continuous
main alarm function. This is mainly used to extend battery
back up time. For example, if a manual reset solenoid
valve is used to shut off the gas the 12V supply does not
need to be continuously applied. The valve will only
require a trigger
pulse to close it. This
setting is made by
moving the jumper
