•
After the weight is displayed press [POWER/TARE] briefly until "0.0" is displayed.
•
Add the "net-weight-item" (product to be weighed) into the tare item container and
the screen will display the weight.
•
To exit tare mode, remove all items being weighed and briefly press [POWER/
TARE] and the display shows "0.0".
•
The scales will power off after 2 minutes of inactivity or press POWER/TARE key
for 1 second to power off immediately.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
•
When LCD display starts to fade or the battery symbol is lit, it is necessary to
replace the batteries. However, measurement may still be made for several hours
although accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
•
Slide the battery cover on the rear panel away from the instrument and remove the
batteries.
•
Replace with new AAA batteries noting the correct polarity and refit the cover.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the casing
•
Wipe using a moist cloth or sponge. Do not use solvents as these may damage the
casing.
•
Avoid scratching the LCD screen.
•
Do not immerse in water or allow moisture to enter the casing.
