Driver Installation

*** Important information for PCMCIA users ***

• You do not need to install driver if you are running

Windows 95 or Windows 98. The Windows will install

its default driver for our PCMCIA card, which is called

the "Standard IDE/ESDI Hard Disk Controller". After

the Windows installs it, you can find it in "Device

Manager" and under "Hard Disk Controllers".

*** Important information for USB users ***

• Before you go on. We just want to let you know that

our USB devices do not support Windows 95 and

Windows NT.

For USB users:

1. Make sure your ExDrive is powered on and the USB cable

is attached, then plug the USB cable into your computer.

2. The Windows 98 will find the new hardware when you

plug in the device at the first time, and it will ask you to

insert the driver diskette. Just put the floppy diskette into

the floppy disk drive.
