Unplug grinder or remove battery before installation or removing and replacing front cover.

1. Place DustBuddie over collar of grinder.

Loosen clamp if necessary.

2. Center DustBuddie on arbor and tighten

clamp. If the grinder has a groove around

the collar, the ribs on the mounting

brackets should sit in the groove.

D0835 & D1835: If needed, two of the

mounting brackets can be moved to an

alternative position to accommodate

features on the grinder that may interfere

with installation. Both adjustable brackets

should be moved respectively.

The OSHA silica rule requires 25 cubic feet

per minute (CFM) of airflow from the vacuum

system per one inch of cup wheel diameter.

(29 CFR 1926.1153, Table 1, Items xi and xii)

For example: 4 1/2" wheel = 113 CFM

5" wheel = 125 CFM

7" wheel = 175 CFM

Dustless HEPA and Wet+Dry

vacs are rated at 130 CFM

If using this product in the removal of lead paint, a HEPA vacuum must be used. The removal of old paint may

generate dust or fumes that contain lead. Exposure to lead may cause brain damage or other adverse health effects, especially in

Limited Warranty

At Dustless we stand behind what we build. We warranty our Wet/Dry, HEPA, Lynx

and our Pro Series vacuums to the original purchaser against defects in materials or workmanship for a period

of three (3) years after the date of original purchase and ten (10) years on our Cougar Ash Vacuums after the

date of original purchase. Our shrouds and accessories are warrantied for 90 days from the date of purchase.

This limited warranty does not cover claims resulting from (I) misuse, (II) neglect, (III) modification and/or (IV)

failure to follow instructions.

SETUP

3. Install grinding wheel.

Ensure surface of grinding wheel is offset

1/8" - 3/8" into shroud from end of brush.

Spacers (included) may be required.

4. Insert adapter hose into DustBuddie port

and attach to vacuum. The releasable zip

tie (included) can be used to fasten the

adapter hose to the tool's power cord.

USAGE

Series D08 & D18: Front cover detaches for

grinding against walls (7" models feature clip

mount on shroud). Series D58: Front cover

slides to reveal opening for grinding against

walls.
