INSTALLATION

The appropriate positioning of the detector is a fundamental prerequisite for the correct functioning; the detector
must be installed at "nose height" of the user (150-200 cm from the floor) near the area where people generally
stay or near the possible source of gas.
In order to establish the optimal positioning of the detector it is advisable to ask for an advice from a specialised
technician.
The detector can be built-in or fixed to the wall with the spacer supplied.
The module can be combined with other CBE and Truma modules to be completed with the installation of frames
of the "Modular Plates" range.
Built-in fixing
After having turned on the detector with the front switch (ref. 1), the heating procedure of the detector continues
for approx. 60 seconds and is indicated by a red led (ref. 2).
At the end of the heating procedure, the detector is ready to signal any alarming situation. The operating mode is
indicated by the flashing of the red led (ref.2) (1 flash every 2 seconds).
When the gas concentration exceeds the limit established, the acoustic (
visual (red led always on) alarm starts functioning.
The alarm continues to operate until the detector is turned off.
