Replacing an ECU with a New unit (Petrol Only).

1. Connect the X431 to the vehicle and turn the ignition ON..

2. Navigate to the correct model and then to the "Immobilizer system"

3. Select "Immobilizer system"

4. Select "Delphi Gas Immobilizer system"

5. Select "Immobilizer matching function"

6. Select "Replace engine ECM"

7. At the prompt "Do you want to change the engine ECU?" select "Yes".

8. Follow the screen prompts to complete the process.

9. If successful, a confirmation screen will appear, select "Yes".

10. If successful the Key code will be read from the Immobilizer and the vehicle

should start. If the vehicle does not start you may have to Program the keys.

NOTE: Before allowing any vehicle to leave the workshop please ensure you have

completed the Tooth Learn procedure outlined in Bulletin 09 SI004.
