Rear speakers
The rear speakers are responsible for the rear sound effects behind the listening position.
When using the compact models as rear speakers, the speakers can be placed into a
shelf, mounted at the rear wall or placed on a stand. This allows you a wide variety of
placements, even if your listening room and furniture limit a optimal setup.
Corresponding to the surround format 5.1 or 7.1, you need to install additional speakers:
1
5.1: The standard multi-channel setup with two rear speakers.
2
7.1: Two speakers are added on both sides between the front and rear speakers.
Subwoofer
Most often a subwoofer will be utilized for the LFE-signal, especially in larger listening
rooms. The position of the subwoofer will be dependent upon the size of the room and
its acoustics. Please refer to the Subwoofer manual.
