Functions and displays
The Master Compressor Diving GMT watch model features a
double set of hands which enables the local time on the main
display to be changed rapidly by moving the corresponding
hand forward or backward in 1-hour jumps, while maintaining a
reference time by means of a second hour hand.
The watch offers the following functions :
- Local time, with 2-way independent quick setting.
- Date synchronised with local time; 2-way adjustment.
- 24-hour reference time (2
nd
time zone).
- Minutes.
- Operating indicator.
You can use the local time and reference time displays at your
convenience, according to the options listed below. Whichever
one you choose, the local time function enables you to move the
hour hand of the main display rapidly in 1-hour jumps in either
direction, while driving the date.
- Display the same time on the local time display and
reference time display. In this configuration, when you are
travelling, you will have your travel time displayed on the
main set of hands, while the reference hands (2
zone) will keep track of your home time. On returning
from your trip, you can restore your home time to the
main display just as quickly.
- Set the time of another time zone on the reference time
display, so as to keep permanent track of the time there,
with day/night indicator (24-hour display).
- Show the official GMT time on the reference time display,
so that any time zone can be deduced from its difference
from the time in the second time zone, and can then be
displayed with the local hands.

Use
Crown A (at 3 o'clock) is used for :
- Winding the watch if it has not been worn for over
48 hours (position 1).
- Setting local time and date (position 2).
- Setting the time in the 2
time zone (or reference time)
nd
(position 3).
The settings must be made in the order indicated below, as
per the following instructions :
1) Reference time (2
time zone), and minutes.
nd
2) Date.
3) Local time.
Starting the watch
Crown A
Turn the compression key to the "open" position in the
direction of the arrow. Crown "A" will then be in position 1.
A few clockwise turns of the crown will suffice to start the
watch. It will then automatically wind up when you wear it.
Please note that the crown does not lock on winding, even
when the watch is fully wound.
Once the operation is complete, turn the compression key to
the "closed" position in the direction of the arrows.
Setting the reference time (2
This setting drives all functions : reference time (time in the
2
time zone), local time, minutes, date. It firstly enables you
nd
to set the reference time (second time zone), and also to
make an accurate minutes setting.
Crown A
Turn the compression key to the "open" position in the
direction of the arrow.
Then pull crown A out to position 3.
The movement will then be locked (the operating indicator
will also stop).
Move the reference time (second time zone) hour hand and
minute hand forward in either direction to the desired time,
taking the 24-hour display into account.
NB : During this operation, the local time hour hand (and the
date) is driven, maintaining its difference from the reference
time. The local time will be set independently, as indicated
below.
Once the operation is complete, push the crown back into
position 1 and turn the compression key to the "closed"
position in the direction of the arrows.
