• Connect the plug to the rated voltage, the power indicator lights red, the unit begins to

preheat.

• During preheating, brush one side of the sandwich respectively.

• Once the cooktop has reached the preset temperature, the ready indicator turns green and

this sandwich maker is ready to toast.

• If too much food is inserted into the appliance and the sandwich maker cannot be closed,

never close it with undue force, as this will damage the handle.

• Never use a sharp fork or knife to remove food, as this will damage the non-stick coating on

the cooktop or hotplate. Use only heat-resistant plastic or wooden utensils.

• Before unhooking the heating plate, make sure that the appliance has been disconnected

from the power supply and that the heating plate is cool enough.

Warning: Never touch the heating plate or heat plate during operation. Since the heating plates are

very hot, burns can occur if touched.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Clean the sandwich maker each time it is used.

• Unplug the appliance from the power source and wait for it to cool completely before cleaning.
