ENGEX FIBREGLASS LADDERS REPAIR, STORAGE & MAINTENANCE

IMPORTANT MAINTENANCE NOTES

• Ladders must not be used without ladder foot and end caps

• If discovered on the daily inspection that the ladders has a broken rail, rung or

any other defect, the ladder must be labelled UNFIT FOR USE and quarantined or

alternatively follow your company's health and safety procedure. If the ladder

cannot be repaired it must be discarded immediately.

• Do not make any temporary repairs. Any repair should be performed by a ladder

repair specialist.

• Store the ladders upright, indoors, in a dry ventilated area out of direct sunlight.

• The ladders should be stored in area free from accidental damage.

• Do not leave ladders for a prolonged time exposed in direct sunlight.

• There should be nothing placed on the ladders when in storage.

• The ladders should not be exposed to high temperature or high humidity.

• Do not cover any surface cracks or damage.

• Lubricant should be used on the hinged joint frequently to maintain free

movement.

We advise any service or repair work must always be carried out by an authorized service

workshop.

The ladder should be operated in accordance with local health and safety guidelines to

avoid injuring others.
