Cleaning

Warning!

Never use alcohol, solvents, abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning.

These can damage the body of the device or scratch the polished finish. Use

only a damp cloth.

Clean the device on the outside only with a damp cloth.

If the power supply and power cord need cleaning, use a damp cloth.

Maintenance

Never open the housing of the protocol converter. The device does not contain parts

that you can repair or replace yourself.

Ensure that repair or maintenance work is carried out by qualified personnel (electrical

engineers).

Passing on, Waste Disposal

Always provide these instructions when passing on the protocol converter to another

user.

The device contains agents which can be harmful to the environment. Legal requirements

must be respected when disposing of such agents.

To dispose of defective equipment or components you no longer need, contact an au-

thorised industrial waste disposal or your local waste authority.
