1.0 INTRODUCTION

The Pole, Wall and Pedestal Mounting Kits can be used for mounting Fiber Dome Terminals and Closures FDC/FDTC/FDST

08M and 08S series to Emerson BD4 & BD5 and Channel MAH1010 pedestals.

3.0 EMERSON BD4 AND BD5 PEDESTAL INSTALLATION USING FIBER DOME

TERMINAL AND CLOSURE MOUNTING KIT FDC-08M-PED-BRKT

3.1 Remove the pedestal cover. Remove pedestal components that may interfere with installation. Carefully knock out

the .28" square knockout located approximately 17" from the top of the pedestal. Install the supplied carriage bolt with

the head on the outside of the pedestal. Secure the bolt using the plastic screw retainer washer. Mount the bracket as

shown and secure with nut. Torque to 35 ± 5 in.-lbs.
