Congratulations on your new Avara alarm!

This is a short-version of the user instructions for Avara Basic, Avara Basic Plus and Avara Premium.

All of the system's units are "paired", are switched on and have working batteries.

The smoke, gas and CO alarm is always on. It cannot be switched off once the alarm has been

fitted.

The night-time alarm

alarm automatically shuts off when you exit one of the doors, and must be manually switched

on again if needed. The alarm also deactivates when you start driving.

The night-time alarm gives warning of:

• smoke;

• CO (carbon monoxide);

• propane;

• intrusion;

• outside motion.

– With the night-time alarm switched on, you can move about freely inside.

The intruder alarm

The intruder alarm gives warning of:

• intrusion via doors and hatches where intrusion detectors are fitted;

• motion through hatches and windows that lead into the living area and are detected by the

main unit's internal motion detector;

• smoke, CO and propane;

• outside motion (switches on the LED light in each of the external motion detectors, but does

not trigger an alarm). There is audible warning inside the motorhome/caravan.

When the intruder alarm is on and you open the door from the outside, you have 20 seconds to

switch off the alarm before the siren goes off.

"Hush" function

If an alarm is accidentally triggered when cooking (or similar), it can be temporarily "hushed"

(while remaining active) by pressing the lower part of the main unit. This does not switch the

alarm on/off or change the mode. The alarm enters a 10-minute pause before then becoming

fully active again. The "hush" function does not affect the intruder alarm.
