Step 4:

Locate your electric and if you have not done so yet, solder your male end bullet connectors to your

motor and female end to your speed controller.

Step 5:

Locate the supplied motor mount and 4mm screws (4 screws). Again, use very little red or blue

loctite prior to assembling motor mount onto the motor as seen in the picture. I personally use very

little red loctite just so things don't loosen in flight. The Neu motors are designed with longer shafts

to reach up into the upper bearing block. Install the motor mount to motor using the supplied

screws using blue loctite. You will notice 2 different set of mounting holes to allow use of different

motors. Most motor will use the smaller diameter holes including the Neu motor. You will notice

pockets designed to lighten the parts and you will need to have the mounting screws inserted

through the pocketed side of the motor mount (flip motor mount if you have to use larger diameter

mounting holes if you are using Kontronik or motors that use larger diameter mounting holes).

Slide the pinion of your choice(20 teeth for the Neu 1915 1.5Y) on the motor shaft. Install upper

bearing block on motor shaft at this point. We will have to install motor assembly in the model

temporarily to identify placement of pinion in reference to main gear so we can dremel the flat spot

on the shaft to secure pinion.

*If using a motor with a short shaft, you will need to obtain our upgraded adaptor to utilize the

upper block.
